General Information

With the new lab here at the Technology Center, we would like to see it used every day. We have a lab that can benefit you greatly.

The staff at the Technology Office will be offering training classes on all kinds of technology-related topics every Wednesday and Thursday. Adam and Dan will be teaching a wide variety of classes on everything from network security to GroupWise Calendar to how to keep kids safe on the internet.

Theresa Wilson and Stacy Mallory will also join us as trainers this year with classes on Pioneer Library, UTIPS, MyEdesk and Dreamweaver.

If there is a class you'd like to see taught that isn't on the list, please let us know and we will do our best to add it. We are also available to teach these classes on site if you'd rather, just contact Ann to set up the appointments.

Classes will be held form 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm but the instructors will be in the lab for general help-questions from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

We will teach classes from 2-14 people, but the class size is limited to 14 people. Sign up early so you can be sure of a spot. If you have signed up for a class and find that you need to cancel, that is no problem, just let us know as early as possible.

The training that will be provided is FREE. All classes may be used for relicensure points this year. These trainings are also designed to increase your ability and comfort level with the computer; and to provide you with a solid background in computer technology that can help you reach out to today's technologically-savvy youth.
