   JOB DESCRIPTION: Work-Based Learning Coordinator

   JOB SUMMARY*

Description: Work-based learning is career awareness and exploration, work experience, structured training, and/or mentoring at the work site.

   Duties include (but are not limited to):

1. instructing a Critical Workplace Skills Course for one period per day;
2. guiding students in finding meaningful employment;
3. monitoring students’ job sites;
4. providing work-based activities such as career fairs, job shadows, service learning, internships, etc.

   Qualifications:

Current Utah teaching license with work-based learning endorsement. Person hired must either have a current license to teach or be willing to go through ARL (Alternate Route Licensing) process to obtain the license and/or endorsement.
